What is eTwo?
eTwo is the newly introduced, FDA cleared aesthetic device that includes two unique treatments called Sublative and Sublime for a Complete Facial Rejuvenation.
What makes eTwo Rejuvenation different from other aggressive fractional devices?
Patients today desire face-lift-type results, yet do not want the weeks–to even months–of downtime associated with those treatments. Aggressive treatments also come with limitations on the range of skin types that can be treated, due to the high risk of skin discoloration. Although classified as an aggressive treatment, Sublative and Sublime Rejuvenation is unique because it delivers optimal efficiency with minimal downtime at an affordable price point–and it’s safe for ALL skin types.
What is Sublative?
Sublative utilizes fractionated bi-polar radio frequency that targets the upper layer of the skin to treat superficial imperfections like acne scars, pigment and wrinkles associated with the skin’s overall clarity and texture.
How does Sublative Rejuvenation using eTwo work?
To achieve the best possible results when addressing any skin imperfection, the energy, whether it be laser or light, must be delivered below the skin without overheating the top layer of the skin. This has been the challenge with current more aggressive treatments, because they work by overheating the top layer of the skin to the point of complete ablation (removal), forcing new skin to develop.
Sublative Rejuvenation uses fractional bi-polar radio frequency to penetrate through the skin–to allow more energy beneath the surface of the skin, to really maximize collagen production–while keeping the top layer of the skin intact.
Post treatment, you may notice increased levels of beneficial collagen as new healthy skin cells are produced. Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced, and the texture of your skin becomes smoother and more elastic.
What is Sublime?
Sublime utilizes Syneron’s proprietary elōs technology of light (infra-red) and bi-polar radio frequency for deep dermal heating required to improve the deeper placed imperfections like wrinkles and skin laxity.
What makes eTwo unique?
With eTwo we can now treat both the upper and deep layer of the skin effectively and safely with energies that are proven to be safe for all skin types.
What results should patients expect to see?
A complete facial rejuvenation from bottom to top. Because this treatment works to rebuild collagen, there are no limitations on how long the results last. Maintenance treatments are recommended post one year to maintain and further enhance current results.
Who are the ideal candidates for eTwo?
Sublative and Sublime are treatments works to diminish the early signs of aging by naturally restoring the collagen that is lost with time and age. These treatments are perfect for all skin types any ideal for patients seeking a glowing and smooth complexion but can’t afford the days of downtime often associated with other energy-based treatments.
What is the treatment protocol?
Sublative and Sublime can be performed as individual treatments or together depending on the patient.
What is the expected social downtime?
Social downtime is no more than 24 hours with the complete treatment. The Sublative treatment does cause micro sized wounds to the skin – some patients may apply post-treatment emollient cream to the treatment area but advise patients not to apply anything on the skin for 24 hours while the skin heals. Patients will be mildly red, much like a mild sunburn, but can apply unscented, mineral based makeup after 24 hours of their treatment session.
How many treatments will the patient need?
Each patient’s treatment protocol will vary based on individual needs and desired results. Most patients will receive 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
When can I expect to see results?
After treatment, a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is common. Patients will begin to see results after the first treatment and results will continue to improve up to one-year post treatment.
What does it feel like?
During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation. Topical anesthetic ointments and cooling can be used to reduce any discomfort during treatment.
What is the treatment cost?
Treatment costs vary but, on average, each treatment will cost $300 – $700.
Are there any side effects?
No clinical side effects have been reported to date. The beauty about eTwo Rejuvenation is its capability to offer significant results to ALL skin types with little to no downtime.
